Cube & cuboid

Dear reader here we discuss some tricky point in the lesson of volume and surface Area.

घनाभ (cuboid)     A cuboids is a box-shaped solid object. It has six flat sides and all angles are right angles .And all of its faces are rectangles.    EXM. Match box,

Volume of cuboid: –                   L×B×H

Surface area of cuboid: –      2(LB×BH×HL)

Diagonal of cuboid:-

HERE

 L: length

B: Breath

H: Height

घन (CUBE) :-   A cube is a three-dimensional solid object bounded by six square faces, or sides, with three meeting at each vertex. And it is a regular hexahedron and is one of the five Platonic solids. It has 12 edges, 6 faces and 8 vertices

Volume of cube:-                   a³

Surface area of cuboid: –      6a²

Diagonal of cube:-                 a3

Where    =    (A) is the side of cube .
